PAM AFFECTIVE FUTURE LEADERS in the Workplace LESSON SERIES

Affective Future Leaders in the Workplace

For all people, at the start of a career journey or being asked to change job roles, there are a great number of challenges and risks along with opportunities and the chance to maximise your potential.

Whether you are an apprentice or trainee, at work or college the Affective Future Leaders in the Workplace programme will provide you with the knowledge to be aware of the risks and how to manage them. It also deals with other important issues that will help you to understand and interact on and offline. It has been designed in a way that will develop your core values, and build self–belief and confidence to progress your careers in this fast-moving rapidly changing digital world.

Designed and developed for people at different life stages

We understand there are many stages of life and during each of these stages, we have different needs, goals and experiences. The Affective Future Leaders in the Workplace courses are primarily contextualised to help people at Adolescent (16-19) and Early Adulthood (20-40) stages to develop the essential workplace skills required to be successful at work and in life.

Adolescent Stage
16-19
This is a major stage of development where the adolescent has to learn the roles they will occupy as adults. It is during this stage that the adolescent will re-examine their identity and try to find out exactly who they are sexually and occupationally. Becoming more independent, and beginning to look at the future in terms of career, relationships, families, housing, etc., the individual wants to belong to a society and fit in.

Early Adulthood
20-40
During this stage, the major conflict centres on forming intimate, loving relationships with other people as we begin to share ourselves more intimately with others. We explore relationships leading toward longer-term commitments with someone other than a family member.

Which course suits your needs, goals, and experiences?

The Affective Future Leaders in the Workplace Programme contains 3 courses. For course overview and module breakdown of each course, please click on the links below.
In General, if you have completed the IMPACT AiM Foundation course previously with us, you could choose to enrol onto either of the Level 3 courses. If you are new to the programme and are aged between 16 and 19, we recommend you to start with the Workplace Foundation Skills at Level 2 and then move on to Workplace CPD Skills at Level 3 to get the most out of the training.

Although the Accelerated Workplace Skills course is designed to help people aged 20 and above to further advance their personal development skills, it would also benefit people who have started their career at early age  to maximise their potential in the workplace.
